Functions of Static Reactive Power Generator

The static reactive power generator, also known as the reactive power compensation device, is mainly composed of three basic functional modules, namely: detection module, control operation module, and compensation output module. Its working principle is to detect the current information of the external CT detection system, and then analyze the current current information, such as PF, S, Q, etc. through the control chip; Then, the controller provides the compensated driving signal, and the compensation current is sent out by the inverter circuit composed of power electronic inverter circuits. The static reactive power generator uses switchable power electronic devices to form a self commutating bridge circuit, which is connected in parallel to the power grid through reactors. The amplitude and phase of the output voltage on the AC side of the bridge circuit are appropriately adjusted, or the AC side current is directly controlled. Quickly absorb or emit the required reactive power, achieving the goal of quickly and dynamically adjusting reactive power.
